Contour Lab is an early-stage fashion tech start-up from Belgium. Our goal with our Digital Shopping Advisor is to transform online (clothing) shopping and to support fashion brands in understanding & serving their customers better- to avoid disappointments (and thus often a lower self-confidence) and return-hassles for end-consumers. Through AI technology, our aim is to provide e-commerce players an AI replica of a human shop advisor, recommending products that match the customer’s body shape, color palette, size and preference, so we can reproduce the offline shopping experience with a shop advisor in the online world. This will lower return rates at the B2B customer, drive conversion and make them the trusted advisor for their clients.

Job Description:

As a Sales Representative at Contour Lab, you’ll be at the forefront of our growth efforts: turning leads into paying customers. You’ll be working closely with the CEO in sales conversations with prospects to secure and grow the sales deals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Qualification & Generation: Identifying potential clients and qualifying leads to ensure the best use of resources
  • Prospect Outreach: Opening doors at targeted companies by leveraging your network and industry knowledge
  • Solution Presentation: Effectively presenting our technology to prospects, demonstrating its value, aligning it with their needs and addressing their objections
  • Deal Negotiation: Managing conversations with prospects to secure deals, balancing client satisfaction with company sales objectives
  • Pipeline Management: Keeping the sales funnel full and active by consistently generating leads, following through on opportunities, achieving sales quotas

Qualifications:

  • Fashion Industry Expertise: Deep knowledge of the fashion value chain and how the industry operates. You can speak the language of fashion professionals and understand their challenges
  • A Strong Network: A well-established network within the fashion industry, ready to leverage connections to open doors
  • Commercial Skills: A proven ability to generate and qualify leads, present solutions, and close deals
  • Start-Up Mindset: Hands-on, adaptable, and motivated to work in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with a transparent and collaborative approach to teamwork

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience or interest in e-commerce, innovation and digital marketing
  • Knowledge of modern sales practices and tools
  • Previous startup experience is a plus
